As a Retail Operations Supervisor, you will play a key role in the customer experience in stores by leading and building a team of brand ambassadors to deliver exceptional, memorable service and going the extra mile to build meaningful relationships with our community. You are expected to be an individual who is extremely customer-centric and genuinely enjoys getting to know customers better. You should have strong leadership and communication skills, and are able to motivate and inspire the team.

You will be responsible for these areas: Retail Operations, Customer Service, Stock Management, Visual Merchandising, Human Resources, Loss Prevention, Retail Sales Performance. We’re looking for someone who is able to manage the daily operations efficiently and maintain the operations at optimum cost efficiency. You are expected to be meticulous, highly organised, reliable, a problem solver, customer-centric and one who does not mind getting your hands dirty to get the job done at times.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Managing and overseeing day-to-day retail and HQ operations to ensure smooth operations
  • Assist with Customer Service on emails and various platforms
  • Planning of weekly roster and managing retail staff budget to achieve optimal staffing levels in delivering excellence in brand experience accordingly to peak periods and launches
  • Meet sales goals by leading, managing and motivating the team and ensuring a good product mix in the stores 
  • Develop, improve and optimise retail processes to better team productivity and smoothen store operations
  • Oversee store & HQ administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures, including goods receiving, transfers and daily settlements 
  • Hire, coach, inspire and build a robust team of brand ambassadors who possess the values of KLARRA and strongly believe in our mission
  • Motivate and inspire the team to provide excellent, personable, attentive and thoughtful service to our community of customers through training, mentoring and weekly catch-ups. Ensure team is well-trained on policies, SOPs and that the procedures are performed accurately
  • Responsible for inventory control, reports and stock levels, replenishment and ensuring accuracy at all times
  • Perform stock taking exercises
  • Maintain excellent store conditions and hygiene at all times
  • Work closely with the creative team to optimize displays in-store and take initiatives to ensure on-brand and accurate visual merchandising and product display
  • Develop ideas and strategies to enhance store & online customer experience and drive sales performance by conducting weekly reviews to expand our customer base, increase store traffic and optimize sales
  • Handle all issues that arise from team or customers such as exchanges, returns, complaints, grievances etc
  • Work closely with the internal team such as Marketing, Operations to ensure smooth operations at all times
  • Manage and liaise with building/landlord management for day-to-day operation issues
  • Performing other additional projects and duties and assignments as required by management


  • 5-day work week, able to work on weekends and retail hours when needed
  • At least 3 years of working experiences in the retail industry
  • Have passion in fashion and experienced in leading a team
  • Good command of English, able to speak mandarin is a bonus Independent, with strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Problem solver, customer oriented and able to multitask
