FULL-TIME: ASSISTANT OPERATIONS MANAGER
You will be responsible for these areas: Order fulfilment, logistics, e-commerce platform operations, inventory, warehousing and customer service. We’re looking for someone who is able to manage the daily operations efficiently and maintain the operations at optimum cost efficiency. You are expected to be meticulous, highly organised, reliable, a problem solver, customer-centric and one who does not mind getting your hands dirty to get the job done at times.
Main Responsibilities:
- Managing and involving in fulfilment of daily orders with accuracy, quality checks and within agreed time frame
- Managing daily activities of the warehouse such as inventory system, warehousing of physical stocks and assets, logistics, physical stocks movement, retail stores’ replenishments/withdrawals, quality assurance, space management and shipping
- Responsible for floor productivity, to review and develop plans for productivity and loss prevention
- Managing the demands of the fulfilment team and ensure quality of work and maximise efficiency of workflow
- Strategically and effectively plan staffing and staffing budget based on projected volume of orders
- Actively review, refine and streamline the internal operational processes to achieve best efficiency and effectiveness
- Ensuring continuous improvement in our inventory accuracy across HQ and stores’ warehouses through the use of inventory management system
- Creation of new products SKUs into the backend
- Reviewing and improving SOPs, Operations manual, templates and responsible for training new hires
- Managing logistics in HQ and logistics for event set ups when needed
- Liaise with other departments for resolutions of customer returns and issues when needed
- Assisting in managing and maintaining an operating budget that is aligned with the company's cost reduction and expansion goals
- Ad-hoc duties and assignments required by management
Requirements:
- Have worked in a relevant field and department for at least 3-5 years with a strong focus on warehousing, order fulfillment and logistics operations
- Strong organizational skills
- Comfortable with physical work
- Operate with a sense of urgency and has strong attention to details
- A reliable team player who can work independently and proactively with a can-do attitude
- Good communication skills and teamwork
- Have a can do attitude and enjoy being challenged beyond the scope of work
- Ability to quickly recognize, diagnose issues and provide solutions to solve for challenges and workflow
- 5-day work week, Monday to Friday
