HR & Finance Executive
About the Role
We are looking for a meticulous, proactive and dependable Finance & HR Executive to support the company's finance, people operations and administrative functions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across multiple functions, takes ownership of their work, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Finance
- Support the Head of Finance in managing the full set of accounts and daily accounting operations.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports and supporting schedules.
- Process monthly payroll, CPF contributions, leave records, expense claims and tax-related submissions.
- Prepare and submit GST returns.
- Issue invoices, process supplier payments and monitor receivables.
- Perform bank reconciliations, journal entries and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare audit schedules and support external audit exercises.
- Assist in budgeting, cash flow monitoring and financial analysis.
- Ensure timely, accurate and compliant financial records.
Human Resources
- Support recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate coordination, interviews and onboarding.
- Conduct new employee orientation and exit interviews.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including employment contracts, confirmations, resignations and offboarding.
- Handle HR administration, including work pass applications, leave records, staff claims and personnel documentation.
- Maintain and update employee records in accordance with company policies.
- Review and update the staff handbook, HR policies and company SOPs.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and other HR projects where required.
Administration & Executive Support
- Provide administrative support for company projects and day-to-day operations.
- Assist the Director with scheduling, coordination and administrative matters.
- Liaise with internal departments and external vendors when required.
- Support management with ad hoc assignments and business initiatives.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Human Resource Management or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounting and HR administration.
- Strong knowledge of full set accounting and payroll processing.
- Familiarity with Singapore employment regulations, CPF and IRAS requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Experience with QuickBooks is an advantage.
- Meticulous, organised and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute across different functions.
